1. Membership Description:

The Products offered by thealive.life are designed to provide guidance, support, and help participants achieve their personal or professional goals through breathwork and other modalities. The Products include access to a combination of online sessions, materials and resources.

2. Payment and Refunds:

a. The Participant shall pay the relevant fee prior to enrollment. In the case of subscription, these will often renew automatically each month. Payment can be made through the Company's designated payment portal.

b. Refunds are not possible once the subscription has been purchased, unless during a specified trial period agreed at the purchase date. In exceptional circumstances, where the Company deems it appropriate, refunds may be made at the discretion of the Company.

3. Participant Responsibilities:

a. The Participant agrees to actively engage in the Products, utilise provided resources, and participate in scheduled sessions.

b. The Participant takes full responsibility for their actions, decisions, and results during their use of the Products. The Company shall not be held liable for any outcomes based on the Participant's actions or decisions.

4. Confidentiality:

a. The Company acknowledges that any information shared by the Participant in the Products are confidential.

b. The Participant agrees not to disclose any confidential information of the Company or other participants to third parties.

5. Intellectual Property:

a. All materials, resources, and content provided by the Company are protected by intellectual property laws.

b. The Participant shall not reproduce, distribute, or share any of the Company's proprietary materials without prior written consent.

6. Termination:

a. The Company reserves the right to terminate any of its Products for any participants who violates these Terms or engages in what it deems as disruptive behavior.

7. Disclaimers:

a. The Company makes no guarantees regarding specific outcomes or results as a result of participating in it's Products.

b. The information provided during the subscription is not a substitute for professional advice or medical/psychological treatment.

c. The Participant agrees to consult a doctor before practicing breathwork or any other practices if they have any underlying health conditions and agrees to not practice if they have any of the following contraindications:

- Severe uncontrolled hypertension (usually after a heart attack)

- Severe/critical diseases or a condition that impairs your ability to breathe (if you are unsure, please consult with a doctor first)

- Organ failure or late-stage terminal illness

- Pregnancy

- If you have epilepsy, a pacemaker, or irregular heartbeat (Exception: your doctor gives you specific permission).

d. The Participant acknowledges that forceful mouth breathing, prolonged breath holds, and extended intense fast breathwork/hyperventilation for more than 5 minutes should NOT be practiced in the case of any of the contraindications or any other pre-existing medical conditions unless authorised by a doctor.

8. Limitation of Liability:

The Participant agrees that the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to it's Products.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.

10. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any updates to the Terms will be communicated to the Participant on the Company's website.
